Luke Kennard
A team with stars needs one thing from its supporting cast above all: good floor spacing. Kennard is one of the NBA’s best in that department. Kennard has shot above 44% from three each of the past two seasons, a blistering figure.
Zion Williamson showed what he can do with an elite shooter when he was teammates with JJ Redick. Using Redick as a screener, Zion was able to leave defenses with the options of either letting him detonate on the rim or leaving Redick open for three.
Zion would no doubt be able to build a similarly elite dynamic with Kennard.
Kennard also brings more size to the line-up than Redick does, and could help contribute on the defensive end.

Luke Kennard, like all of these dream trade targets, would probably require a significant return. The Clippers have a contending team of their own, and Kennard fits well alongside their star duo of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.
I’m not sure if a deal is possible between the two teams. But still, Luke Kennard represents exactly the type of player New Orleans will covet on the trade market.

If Kennard himself is unavailable, look for the Pels to test the market on players like him around the league.
