Utah Jazz Receive: F Tobias Harris, G Matisse Thybulle, 2026 First-Round Pick (Swap – PHI)
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: F Bojan Bogdanovic, G Jordan Clarkson
Finding a trade involving draft capital between these teams was difficult. They’ve both bled their reserve dry in pursuit of an elusive NBA championship.
They both have first-round picks in 2026. In this deal, the Utah Jazz earn the right to swap selections. In return, they’re allowing the Sixers to unload Tobias Harris’s burdensome $37.6 million deal. That will give them flexibility in separate transactions.
They’re also, more importantly, upgrading their roster here. Bogdanovic is roughly equal to Harris, and Clarkson will likely bump Shake Milton back in the Sixers rotation. He’ll become their new lead guard in the second unit. This trade makes them a little deeper, and a little better.
As for the Jazz, we’ll reiterate that they’re only doing these deals if they’re backed into a corner. It’s likely that either of these trades would be one of several transactions the team made this summer.
