Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers, according to most reports, are eager to get Russell Westbrook off of their books. Westbrook is owed north of $47 million next season, a huge salary for a player that struggled last season.
The fit for Westbrook just wasn’t right in LA. Chris Paul, should he still be able to play at the level he’s hit in Phoenix, would fit much better. Chris Paul and LeBron James are not only great friends, but two of the best basketball minds in the game.
Those two would be akin to having two coaches on the floor. Los Angeles would still need to fill out their roster, but that duo would fit extremely well.
If Anthony Davis can be healthy, he would also be unlocked on offense. Davis has never played with as good a pick-and-roll guard as Paul, and he would thrive just as Ayton has in Phoenix.

The Lakers have a lot of issues to address, and not many assets to do so. Being able to move Westbrook would be huge for LA, and they will certainly be desperate to do so. If they can add someone as good as Paul in a deal for him, they would certainly jump on it.
