If the San Antonio Spurs decide they want to rebuild, this is the kind of package that they could look for in a deal centered around Dejounte Murray. Young players that have already produced but have untapped upside and draft compensation would fit the bill.
In this scenario, the Spurs are also parting ways with center Jakob Poeltl. Poeltl was someone that was garnering interest ahead of the trade deadline and could do so again in the offseason. San Antonio sees a chance to capitalize on his value as well in this deal with the Raptors, who are desperate for an upgrade in the middle.

Gary Trent Jr. is only 23-years old and on an affordable contract. He could be flipped again for even more assets if the Spurs don’t see him as a long-term asset. But, his 3-point shooting and defensive potential make him a solid centerpiece of the return package.

Precious Achiuwa made some strides during his second season in the NBA. His performance in the postseason certainly raised some eyebrows. His versatility on defense is already enough to warrant playing time, but if the efficiency from 3-point range is here to stay, he has a bright future ahead of him.
Khem Birch is included to help match salary and will provide San Antonio with some depth in the frontcourt to help replace Poeltl. The two future first-round picks are excellent assets for the Spurs to have.

That would give them 10 first-round picks through 2026, providing them a ton of opportunities to add young talent to the roster. Draft picks are also very valuable trade pieces, as the Spurs would have the bargaining power to move up draft boards or make strong offers for established players looking for a change of scenery.
