Utah Jazz Receive: G Derrick White, G Payton Pritchard
Boston Celtics Receive: G Mike Conley
Unlike the other prospective trade partners listed here, the Boston Celtics are still in the playoffs. Depending on how they fare moving forward, they may not be interested in making any major deals.
On the other hand, if they feel they fell short of expectations, Conley could be the remedy. As currently constructed, the Celtics don’t have a conventional floor general. Marcus Smart is filling the role admirably, but he may benefit from suiting up alongside a more natural facilitator.
Meanwhile, Conley could thrive alongside an elite defensive guard. He’s solid in that regard, but his small stature limits his impact. These two could make up for each other’s deficiencies as an ideal backcourt alongside the Celtics’ dynamic duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
As for the Utah Jazz, Prichard is probably the main draw from the Celtics here. The 24-year-old is shooting 41.1% from three-point range across his first two NBA seasons. Still, the 27-year-old White is a quality player who wouldn’t be far off their new timeline either.

None of these deals come to light if the Utah Jazz are retaining Donovan Mitchell. In that event, they’ll be looking to retool, not rebuild. On the other hand, if Mitchell has a foot out the door, they might as well leave it open for Conley after he makes his exit.
