Making the Case: Utah Jazz
This comes down to the plan for the Utah Jazz moving forward. For once, this deal is not involving Donovan Mitchell or Rudy Gobert, but Bojan Bogdanovic is another big name to keep an eye on.
With his contract coming to an end, the Jazz might not have interest in bringing back Bogdanovic. If this is the case, and we have seen it a million times, it would benefit the franchise more to him in order to get some assets to help for the future.
In this case, Mitchell and Conley would continue to man the backcourt while acquiring some depth. Horton-Tucker would be able to learn from two strong guards while progressing at his own rate.
Kendrick Nunn and Austin Reaves are other depth pieces for a team that is always playing longer than most.
