Making the Case: New York Knicks
The main intrigue for the New York Knicks is getting rid of two contracts that should have never been signed — plain and simple.
Along with Fournier, Kemba Walker came over last year and did not have much of an impact. It was another failed offseason for the Knicks while they were unable to land a star that they have needed for years. Now, they have a chance to add an intriguing piece to the perimeter, along with Barrett.
New York needs a point guard. This is the first step in rebuilding the team but it is unlikely that they are going to be able to get a deal done for one. This means that the draft could be a target at the top of the offense.
With Barrett taking over the shooting guard position, Wiggins would be able to step in at small forward and give the Knicks great versatility. He improved for three-point range, shooting 39.3% this season. This is another area where the Knicks could look to improve.

The Knicks tare not a win-now team and have time to develop Wiseman into the player that was expected coming in. This, along with clearing up cap space, seems like a no-brainer for the Knicks if they can get it done.
