Anthony will be remembered as one of the best Knicks of all time because of what he could accomplish on the floor. This is not necessarily about success either. Anthony joined the New York Knicks when no one else would.
Fans remember him for taking on the challenge and leading the Knicks to the postseason on multiple occasions. This includes winning the scoring title on a team that finished second in the East.
Just like many other years, the Knicks underachieved during Anthony’s tenure. Toward the end, it was clear that he would be treated, and that is when he was sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Now, the Knicks will have a chance to bring him back in.
