Tanking enthusiasts will say that it’s too early in the process (or, “The Process”) to trade draft capital for a star. Their protests will likely fall on deaf ears in the Alamodome.
The Spurs do not seem intent on tanking with Gregg Popovich at the helm. Some would argue that they’re doing the right thing.
While this team may currently look stuck on the mediocrity treadmill, the acquisition of a star player could put them back in the fast lane.
