Oklahoma City Thunder Receive: F/C John Collins
Atlanta Hawks Receive: F/G Lu Dort, F Kenrich Williams, C Derrick Favors, 2022 First-Round Pick (Top-5 protected, via LAC)

The Atlanta Hawks and Oklahoma City Thunder are in two different spots currently with their rosters, but they come together on this deal. This trade was put together by Greg Swartz over at Bleacher Report in a piece he put together one realistic trade that fanbases may not see coming.

Given the size of the contract that John Collins signed last season and being part of the team’s core, it would certainly be surprising to see him moved. But, for a roster that could use a shake-up, Collins is arguably the most likely to be moved.

The Hawks are reportedly looking for a value first-round pick and starting-caliber player in exchange for Collins. This deal with the Thunder could qualify.

Collins is heading to Oklahoma City, which is giving up a draft pick after completing so many deals in which they received draft capital. To complete the deal, the Thunder are giving up multiple pieces of their rotation.
