Denver Nuggets

This season, the Denver Nuggets were without Jamal Murray due to a knee injury. They finished 48-34, led by Nikola Jokic. Murray is expected to return to a backcourt next season that could look slightly different if they decide to make a deal.

The Nuggets seem to have their core in place. Murray and Jokic are set at the top, but Terry Rozier could add another big-time weapon. Denver has added some depth at the top of the offense, including Bones Hyland from last year’s draft. Monte Morris and Will Barton have been linked to trade rumors, and this could be the deal that gets it done.

While Rozier is listed as a point guard, he can play off the ball when Murray returns next season. This lengthens the Nuggets’ lineup and makes the offense that much more explosive. Rozier can score from the perimeter and knows how to defer to other options on that end of the floor.

The Nuggets continue to contend in a brutal Western Conference. This is going to continue as long as Jokic remains an MVP-caliber player.

Hyland provides depth coming off the bench as a scorer that looks like he can turn into something explosive. Not to mention, Aaron Gordon recently signed a contract extension to remain with the Nuggets.

The Nuggets are set up well for years to come, and Rozier could add to that if the front office wants to remain aggressive.
