Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies made players available at the NBA trade deadline, such as Kyle Anderson and Dillon Brooks. Anderson is a free agent at the end of the year but why not move some other pieces to improve the perimeter?
The Grizzlies still have Brooks and Steven Adams to throw in a package for Gordon Hayward. As long as Ja Morant is leading the way, Memphis will be contenders in the Western Conference.
We saw that this season as the Grizzlies took a major step forward after getting over the hump and into the postseason last year.
Losing Anderson and gaining Gordon Hayward would be a major upgrade. Of course, this is all contingent on the health of Hayward, but he is a better scorer and can make an impact defensively as well.

The thought of losing Brooks and Adams might be difficult for some to deal with but it would not be as big of a loss as it seems. Jaren Jackson Jr. and Xavier Tillman are still around to man the frontcourt. Keep in mind, both Adams and Brooks will be on expiring deals next season.
Hayward would bring versatility on both ends. His ability from three-point range complements Morant well because of his ability to get in the lane and find the open man. Morant averaged 6.7 assists per game this season.

With an MVP-caliber player like Morant leading the way, Hayward would be able to mesh into the Grizzlies’ offense. At this point in his career, Hayward knows how to play his own role and fit into any scheme.
