Indiana Pacers
This is not the first time we have seen Gordon Hayward attached to the Indiana Pacers. It happened last offseason, at this year’s trade deadline, and might rear its head once again this offseason.
Over a year in the making, the deal still makes sense for both sides.
The Pacers have been big-time sellers recently. Domantas Sabonis was sent to Sacramento while Caris LeVert is now with the Cleveland Cavaliers. This leaves Malcolm Brogdon and of course, Myles Turner, as trade pieces. Turner has been at the forefront but nothing has happened to this point.
The Hornets remain linked to the big man because of their need in the frontcourt. As good as Ball and Bridges have been, the Hornets would benefit from a dynamic big man that can contribute on both ends of the floor.

Turner has shot-blocking ability that has him up there with the best in the league and an improving offensive game.
The Hornets would be able to check two boxes with this trade. They would send away a large contract to open room while acquiring an impact big man. This seems like a win and it has for the past year.
