It’s been a disappointing season for the Atlanta Hawks and a major move in the offseason could be in store as they continue to build around Trae Young.
A talent like Anthony Davis would form an intriguing pick-and-roll combination with Young while also bringing the needed defensive impact the Hawks need when fielding his supporting cast.
While the Hawks do not necessarily have a talent outside of Young that would be on the short-list of trade targets for an Anthony Davis trade, they do have a collection of intriguing options that could create for a solid overall package.
Getting back De’Andre Hunter as the centerpiece of a trade could be a helpful option given he checks a lot of boxes for a big wing. Next to LeBron James, those types of talents can help piece together a small ball unit quite nicely.
