Toronto Raptors
Ever since they won their first championship in 2019, the Toronto Raptors have been searching for talent in their frontcourt, specifically at the center position.
Pascal Siakam has split time with Precious Achiuwa, Chris Boucher, and Khem Birch at the center position this season, creating a lot of uncertainty as to what the future holds for this Raptors’ frontcourt.
Pursuing another big man seems like something executive Masai Ujiri and this front office will look to do in the offseason and while someone like Christian Wood from the Rockets could be on their radar, so could Rudy Gobert if he was to become available.
Under head coach Nick Nurse, the Raptors have always been a fierce defensive-minded team, which is why Rudy Gobert would make sense for them.

Next to Pascal Siakam, the Raptors would have the best defensive frontcourt in the entire league with the addition of Gobert and offensively, Rudy Gobert could fit right in.
The Raptors prefer to have Fred VanVleet controlling the offense out of pick-and-roll sets and while they sometimes spread the floor with the shooting abilities of OG Anunoby and Gary Trent jr. on the wing, Toronto running pick-and-rolls with Siakam and Gobert as their bigs would be deadly.
Pursuing Rudy Gobert though would come at a steep price for Toronto and they would likely have to trade away both Anunoby and Trent Jr. to make this deal work monetarily.
Maybe they would be willing to give up Pascal Siakam in a trade for Rudy Gobert, but it is much more likely that the Raptors would look to form an All-Star trio of VanVleet, Siakam, and Gobert, giving up some of their other core pieces for the Jazz big man.
