Toronto Raptors
Ever since they won their only title in 2019, the Toronto Raptors have been searching for answers in their frontcourt.
Pascal Siakam, Precious Achiuwa, Chris Boucher and Khem Birch have held things down in the frontcourt this season and have not done a bad job, but the Raptors were aggressive in their search for another big man ahead of the trade deadline and this interest is expected to carry over to the offseason.
Chris Boucher is going to be a free agent in the offseason and with the Toronto Raptors expected to explore trade opportunities involving Birch, they will be looking to add another big man to their roster that can complement Pascal Siakam’s play.
Maybe Wendell Carter Jr. will carry too hefty of a price for the Raptors to meet, but he is certainly the type of offensive threat Toronto would like to add in the paint and Carter would take a lot of pressure off of Siakam to be this team’s primary rebounder.
