Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings trading for Domantas Sabonis at the trade deadline and pairing him with De’Aaron Fox has sent a message to the rest of the NBA that Sacramento is looking to win right now and end their close to two-decade long playoff drought.
Adding that third key talent is what the Kings will be looking to do in the offseason and while they may not be able to sign him outright, targeting Miles Bridges is definitely advantageous to the Kings.
Donte DiVincenzo will be a restricted free agent, allowing the Sacramento Kings to possibly navigate a sign-and-trade involving him, and they could also look to leverage Harrison Barnes, who will be entering the final year of his contract, in a sign-and-trade deal for Miles Bridges from the Hornets.
The idea of targeting Miles Bridges for Sacramento is simply due to the fact that they need versatile talent on the wing.

Harrison Barnes has been good for them, but he will be entering the final year of his contract and Barnes is nothing more than a high-level role player for the Sacramento Kings at this point.
They need another young star on the offensive-end of the floor that they can depend on for production and Miles Bridges can certainly be this kind of player.
However, Bridges may not be willing to go to a rebuilding franchise like the Sacramento Kings, especially given that he has enjoyed his time in Charlotte and has strong relationships with the young talents on this team already.
