Not only is the playoff race tightening up around the NBA, but the MVP race is still very neck-and-neck at this point. 

Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic seem to be “1A and 1B” in terms of the MVP standings right now, but there are plenty of other deserving players for the award this season. 

DeMar DeRozan with the Bulls and Ja Morant with the Grizzlies have been having stellar years, as has two-time MVP and Bucks’ star Giannis Antetokounmpo. 

Now in his 9th NBA season, which is hard to believe, Giannis continues to amaze every single night he takes the floor and he has been having one of the best seasons of his career.

Currently tied with Embiid for the league-lead in points per game (29.7), Antetokounmpo has one thing on his mind right now – finding a way to help the Bucks repeat as champions. 

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most unguardable players in the entire NBA and given his recent performances, it is time to start mentioning “The Greek Freak” on the same level as Embiid and Jokic in the NBA’s MVP race.
