Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets (40-26) took on De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings (24-44) in part of the Wednesday NBA slate. It was the Nuggets who won with 106-100 being the final score.

Being a serious candidate to win the 2022 NBA MVP award, Jokic gives the Nuggets a chance to win any game despite them being without Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.

Jokic has pulled off some genuinely incredible performances lately and that’s become an expectation from him on a nightly basis at this point. The same occurred vs Kings as he finished with 38 points, 18 rebounds, and seven assists with great efficiency.

The Kings were without Domantas Sabonis for this game given he was suspended by the NBA. Sacramento opted to deploy Alex Len in the starting lineup as a result.
