Kevin Durant’s Dominance Against Philadelphia
One of the biggest reasons why the Brooklyn Nets have slipped in the standings over the last month or so is because of the fact that Kevin Durant was out with a left MCL sprain.
Without Durant on the floor this season, the Nets are just 8-19 as opposed to being 25-14 with the former league-MVP on the court.
Prior to suffering his left knee injury, Kevin Durant was at the front of the line in the MVP race and was having a remarkable season scoring the basketball, making many forget that he had recently recovered from an Achilles injury just a season or two prior!
The Nets’ offense flows through Durant and he has been a killer against the Philadelphia 76ers this season, helping the Nets win two of three matchups against the Sixers this season.

In three games against the 76ers this season, Kevin Durant has averaged 32.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and has shot 51.5% from the floor. Kevin Durant has been able to get to his spots on the floor against the 76ers with ease and they really do not have anybody that can guard him one-on-one.
Tobias Harris is the most likely matchup for Philadelphia against Durant, but even he has had his fair share of struggles defensively this year.

Kevin Durant is going to have his way with the 76ers once again tonight and it is not hard to see the former league-MVP dropping 30-plus points on Philadelphia tonight.
