With just over five weeks left in the 2021-22 NBA regular season, it is time to start shifting our attention not only to the offseason and potential moves to be made by teams across the league but what the playoffs could shape up to look like.

Both the Eastern Conference and Western Conference are full of tight position races right now in terms of record and standings, but there are quite a few teams being overlooked right now.

In the Eastern Conference, the Heat, Bulls, and 76ers sit 1-3 in the standings, respectively, yet there are other teams in the conference that do not get as much attention and may have a better chance at going on a deep playoff run than them.

Out in the Western Conference, the Suns and Warriors sit at the top of the conference standings, but a young, hungry team is quickly catching up to them in the standings and could find their way to the Western Conference Semifinals this season.
