Top Landing Spots For Buyout Options With Schroder Unavailable

NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

The 2022 NBA buyout market has been very slow and it does not seem like there is going to be much traction before March 1, the deadline for players to be waived by their current teams and be eligible for the playoffs should they sign with a new team.

So far this season the big names to have hit the buyout market have been Goran Dragic and Tristan Thompson, but both players recently signed new contracts with playoff-contending teams, taking them off the market.

Dragic opted to sign with the Brooklyn Nets after receiving interest from multiple other championship contenders and Thompson, after being bought out by the Pacers, signed with the Chicago Bulls, giving them much-needed depth behind Nikola Vucevic.

Two former Nets players in Jevon Carter and DeAndre’ Bembry also hit the buyout market this season, but both players signed contracts recently with the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks.
