2. Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards have their work cut out for them this offseason. They need to convince Bradley Beal they can build a winning roster so that he re-signs with the team on a long-term deal.
The trade they made ahead of the deadline to land Kristaps Porzingis was a low-risk, high-reward deal. He has a huge higher ceiling than Spencer Dinwiddie or Davis Bertans, as Porzingis has at least shown when healthy he can play at an All-Star level.
He and Beal make for an intriguing pair offensively. But, if the Washington Wizards want to truly contend, they need to go all in. Acquiring someone such as Damian Lillard would show Beal they are willing to do what it takes to build a contending roster.
Washington has a surplus of young players and draft capital that they would be able to build a package around. They need to be aggressive if they want to retain Beal and making a move for Lillard would certainly qualify.

The Washington Wizards also have a need at point guard with Dinwiddie not panning out and being shipped to Dallas. Lillard would fill that void for years to come, creating one of the best backcourt duos in the NBA alongside Beal.
