Jaden Ivey, G, Purdue

The Detroit Pistons need to add some scoring punch to their lineup this season one way or another. Whether it comes from an established veteran or someone in the draft, the Pistons need scorers.

If they drop in the lottery and fall out of the top three spots, they will likely have to turn their attention from the frontcourt to the backcourt. Despite using a first-round pick on guards the last two years, it would be hard for Detroit to pass up on Jaden Ivey.

Jaden Ivey has immense upside as a combo guard that gets after it on both ends of the court. He has looked like one of the best players in the nation during his sophomore season, averaging 17 points, five rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.

He has come a long way in two years with the Boilermakers, but if he can become a more consistent shooter and refine his shot selection, he has the tools to become an offensive force.

Jaden Ivey looks like a much better fit long-term alongside Cade Cunningham than Killian Hayes does given his scoring ability. He is a good enough playmaker that Cunningham would get some time playing off the ball either and they would have the size to defend multiple positions as well.

Jaden Ivey has the look of a top-five pick come June when the draft rolls around.
