With NBA All-Star Weekend now behind us, teams are gearing up for the stretch run of the regular season. With about a quarter of the season remaining, it is time for teams to round into shape and make a push for the postseason.

While more than half the teams in the NBA are still alive for at least a spot in the NBA Play-In Tournament, some teams are already preparing plans for the offseason. But, even the teams that are expecting to make a playoff push have one eye toward the future.

One team that could be in for some major changes this upcoming offseason is the Utah Jazz. The Jazz has been one of the most successful teams in the regular season the last few years, but they haven’t found nearly as much success in the postseason. If they do not find success this year, could Donovan Mitchell look for a new team to play on?

According to Howard Beck of Sports Illustrated, Mitchell is one of three superstars that many teams around the league are preparing for him to be one of the next stars looking for a change. We saw James Harden and Ben Simmons swap places this season and Mitchell could very well be next.
