Jayson Tatum – Boston Celtics

At just 23-years-old, Jayson Tatum has turned himself not only into a three-time All-Star but one of the best pure scorers in the entire NBA. This season, Tatum is averaging 25.7 points (T-9 in NBA), a career-high 8.4 rebounds, and is shooting 4.2 assists while shooting 43.4% from the floor.

The Celtics started the year slow and had not won more than three straight games in a row, but they have suddenly won 11 of their last 13 games and went on a 9-game win streak in large part because of Jayson Tatum.

Last season, Tatum missed out on making the All-NBA roster by a few votes and as a result, it cost him a lot of money on a new extension with Boston.

This season, Jayson Tatum has played with a chip on his shoulder and has been looking to prove all of his doubters wrong.  Having the second-highest scoring game in the NBA this season with 51 points, Tatum has certainly done just that, and should he continue to elevate his play to new heights, he could take the Celtics deep into the playoffs this season.

Having Jaylen Brown next to him definitely makes Tatum a better overall player, but he is the main reason why the Celtics have been surging up the standings in the Eastern Conference as of late.

Having the ability to drop 40-plus points on any given night, Jayson Tatum can easily make up ground in the All-NBA race this season.
