3. Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have battled a ton of adversity this season. Everyone has dealt with players going in and out of the league’s health and safety protocols, but the Bucks have dealt with a multitude of injuries as well.

Not a single Buck has appeared in every game this season. Bobby Portis, Pat Connaughton and Grayson Allen are the only players to not miss double-digit games thus far this season. Adding some experience to the depth chart could make some sense, which is where Russell Westbrook would come in.

It would be a major adjustment for Westbrook to join a team such as the Bucks. But, if he wants a chance to compete for a title, not many teams provide him a better chance to do so. The Bucks have versatile backcourt options that would fit alongside Westbrook, making for an easier transition.

Milwaukee is also a strong defensive team, one that could compensate for Westbrook’s shortcomings on that end of the court. There is plenty of shooting to put around him and he could provide a scoring punch that is sometimes lacking with the second unit.

Joining the Bucks would result in his role being scaled back drastically, but that is something he should be willing to accept if it means competing for a championship.
