Thaddeus Young
Thaddeus Young appears at the top of the list because of his fit in San Antonio. The Spurs received Young in the sign-and-trade dead that sent DeMar DeRozan to the Chicago Bulls. Now, moving Young makes sense for the Spurs.
San Antonio is in a transition period after two decades of success. This is why DeRozan was sent away. Thaddeus Young had to come back in return but he is not a long-term piece for the franchise.
The Spurs were expected to be one of the worst teams in the league this season but still remain in contention for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference. San Antonio must feel as though he isn’t a helpful piece for them to achieve that goal based on fit.
It is unknown what the Spurs would be able to get in return but it is clear that he will be shopped at some point this season. Young has played in just 25 games this season and is scoring just 6.0 points per game this season.

San Antonio has a chance to make some big changes and that is what is needed to get back to competing. Thaddeus Young will likely be the first piece and the easiest one to trade away.
