2. New Orleans Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans seem like a lock to land a top-five pick already. Just a quarter of the way through the season, the Pelicans are near the bottom of the league and there is not much of a turnaround in sight. Zion Williamson is expected to return soon but New Orleans is still going to struggle.
New Orleans could move Brandon Ingram at some point this season. If this happens, the New Orleans Pelicans will continue to add assets around Williamson. This will not impact their draft stock too much as they are still expected to be near the bottom of the league.
It was a concern in the offseason that Williamson might not be happy in New Orleans. He has been unable to stay on the court and his status is unknown moving forward.
Now, the Pelicans can look to add some more prospects around him. They might even have a chance for another Duke product in Banchero.

This would be a good fit for the New Orleans Pelicans down low. When looking at the class, New Orleans would benefit from anyone that is taken with the first pick.
