Sacramento Kings Receive: C/F Kristaps Porzingis, F Sterling Brown
Dallas Mavericks Receive: G Buddy Hield, F/C Marvin Bagley III, F Maurice Harkless, 2023 Second-Round Pick
This trade would see the Sacramento Kings exchange some shooting and depth in exchange for a star frontcourt player. Meanwhile, the Mavs would, obviously, be doing the opposite. This would help them put more depth and shooting around Luka Doncic.
Kristaps Porzingis has played better this year than last year. He’s putting up 19.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 blocks while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 28.3 percent from three-point range. Pozingis’ three-point shooting is well below his career average.
As for Buddy Hield, his shooting splits are a bit down, but he’s still shooting super well from deep in the grand scheme of things. Hield is averaging 14.7 points points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists while shooting 38.3 percent from the field and 37.0 percent from deep.
As for Marvin Bagley III, his numbers are a bit skewed due to not being in the rotation to start the year. Regardless, though, he’s still been somewhat of a disappointment since being the second overall pick. However, he’s still shown some flashes of potential.
