This Kings-Wizards Trade Sends De’Aaron Fox To D.C.

De'Aaron Fox, Washington Wizards, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

After an extremely hot start to the 2021-22 NBA season, the Washington Wizards have slowed down to a crawl. They are now sitting three games below .500 and are stuck jockeying for a play-in spot, but are on the outside looking in at the moment. Definitely not ideal, considering how well they started the year.

Bradley Beal has yet to commit to the team long-term, and with how far they’ve fallen already, it could be panic time for the Wizards. If Beal isn’t happy by the time the season ends, he could decide that he no longer wants to play in Washington.

With that in mind, the Wizards might be big-time buyers at the NBA trade deadline.

If they want to improve and put a competitive team around Beal, then trading for other helpful players should be their priority. This is where the Sacramento Kings could come in.
