Los Angeles Lakers Receive: C Myles Turner, F Torrey Craig
Indiana Pacers Receive: F Talen Horton-Tucker, G Kendrick Nunn, G Austin Reaves, G Kent Bazemore, 2025 First-Round Pick, 2027 First-Round Pick
In terms of the number of players involved, this would be a fairly big trade.
Six different players would be on the move, with the main two involved being Myles Turner and Talen Horton-Tucker. This trade falls in line with what each team is trying to accomplish this season, though.
Turner is putting together a pretty successful season in Indiana. He’s averaging 12.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, and a league-leading 2.8 blocks per game. All while shooting 50.9 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three-point range.
As for Horton-Tucker, he’s been struggling to shoot efficiently, but the flashes of potential have been there. He’s averaging 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists a night and shooting 40.8 percent from the field and 24.4 percent from deep.

Torrey Craig is putting up 5.7 points and 3.4 rebounds while shooting 48.8 percent from the field and 32.1 percent from deep. Rookie Austin Reaves is averaging 6.4 points on 51.5-37.9 shooting splits. Meanwhile, Kendrick Nunn has yet to play this season, and Kent Bazemore has fallen out of favor in the Lakers rotation.
This trade would help the Lakers improve their chances of winning now, while the Indiana Pacers would have better assets to help them rebuild. Both teams need to shake things up at this point, so why exactly would this particular trade be the one they choose to do?
