Would this trade make sense for the Washington Wizards?
For the Washington Wizards, this would be a way to put more star power alongside Bradley Beal. Unfortunately, it would be at the expense of some of their depth, with Kyle Kuzma being the biggest loss in the deal. Their frontcourt depth would definitely take a hit.
That being said, the backcourt duo of De’Aaron Fox and Beal would be one of the best in the game. The Wizards had some success not too long ago with a dynamic backcourt. Pairing a speedy, athletic guard next to Beal has worked out pretty well in the past.
Fox could take on the majority of the playmaking duties, and Beal would easily be the most talented teammate he’s ever had. Beal’s perimeter scoring combined with Fox’s ability to get into the paint would create a nice combo.
Plug in Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s outside shooting and defense, Montrezl Harrell’s sparkplug offense, and Spencer Dinwiddie’s scoring off the bench, and the Wizards would have a pretty solid team. It should certainly be enough to earn them a playoff spot.

Maurice Harkless would serve as some extra frontcourt depth since the Washington Wizards would be giving up both Kuzma and Dani Avdija. Overall, though, if the Wizards want to focus on putting more talent around Beal, this is certainly one way to do it.
