Boston Celtics Receive: C Jonas Valanciunas, F Josh Hart, F Herbert Jones, G Nickeil Alexander-Walker, 2023 First-Round Pick, 2025 First-Round Pick
What a blockbuster this would be. Instead of prioritizing star power, the Boston Celtics would get some great depth to put alongside Jayson Tatum. Meanwhile, the New Orleans Pelicans would form a big three of Jaylen Brown, Brandon Ingram, and Zion Williamson.
Brown has been having a great season this year. The one-time All-Star is averaging 24.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists a night while shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 36.8 percent from three-point range.
On the flip side, Jonas Valanciunas has put together an All-Star-caliber season for the Pelicans so far this season.
The Lithuanian big man is putting up 18.5 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while shooting 52.0 percent from the field and 42.7 percent from three-point land.

Josh Hart has also played well for the Pelicans this year and has turned himself into a great 3&D option. The Villanova product is averaging 13.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the field and 33.7 percent from deep.
Lastly, the C’s would get two young players that have shown real potential. Rookie Herbert Jones is already proving to be a special defender, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker looks like he could turn into a great scorer under the right circumstances. But why would both teams make this trade?
