Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G Buddy Hield, F Harrison Barnes, G Tyrese Haliburton, 2022 First-Round Pick, 2024 First-Round Pick
Sacramento Kings Receive: G/F Ben Simmons, G Danny Green
The Sacramento Kings were one of the teams that showed a lot of interest in acquiring Ben Simmons ahead of the season. Given how desperate they are to make a run at the postseason, that interest likely hasn’t waned.
In this deal, they finally get the job done, acquiring him along with Danny Green. Green will be imperative to the Kings’ success offensively as someone that can space the floor around Simmons. Both are excellent defenders, which Sacramento needs more of.
For the 76ers, they don’t land the All-Star they were hoping to, but get glue guys that will fit into their rotation perfectly. The two first-round picks give them more ammunition to pull off a big trade should the opportunity arise for one.
Buddy Hield will provide the team with another sniper to fill out the lineup around Joel Embiid. Hield will be more open on this 76ers team than he ever was with the Kings.

Harrison Barnes is the ultimate glue guy, as he has experience filling in as a complementary player from his time with the Golden State Warriors. His two-way play will help upgrade the wing spot for the 76ers.
Tyrese Haliburton has shown that when given the keys to the offense, he can really produce. He provides another player that can fit numerous roles in the backcourt to help lengthen the team’s rotation.
