There are numerous players on the team that would help them, as Harrison Barnes would help them in the frontcourt as much as Buddy Hield would help the backcourt.

The Boston Celtics need to add some shooting. That is what they should be scouring the market for leading up to the deadline and taking a chance on Hield would be a worthwhile gamble.

This season Hield is struggling, making only 38.4 percent of his shots overall and 37 percent from 3-point range. Both would be career-lows for the Oklahoma product, who is averaging 15.4 points per game.

Boston would be betting on a bounce-back and his struggles this season could enable them to get Buddy Hield on a discount. He is not living up to his contract, which normally isn’t a player you want to target. But, with his deescalating contract and track record, it is a worthwhile gamble for the Boston Celtics.
