3. Cade Cunningham, Detroit Pistons
Cunningham had to appear on this list at some point. Many would have thought that he would be at the very top but he missed some time and there have been two big men who are out of their minds.
With that being said, these rankings are to this point of the season. Cunningham may very well have the highest ceiling and he is beginning to show that.
Cunningham is scoring 15.3 points on the season. He is adding 6.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. In December, Cunningham has games of 28 points and 11 rebounds and 21 points and 11 assists. He added a performance against the Brooklyn Nets with 26 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
There is little doubt that Cunningham is a franchise player and has superstar potential. Most importantly, Cunningham doesn’t like to lose. The Pistons have a bulldog that wants to improve and get his team to the highest peak.
