Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks

History: The Boston Celtics played last year, getting blown out by the Brooklyn Nets and this will be their 35th appearance. They are 15-19 overall. The Milwaukee Bucks played last year against the Golden State Warriors and blew them out of the water. This is their 8th appearance and is 4-3.

Do the Celtics have the Bucks’ number? They are one of the few teams that have consistently had their way with Milwaukee this season, as Boston is 2-0 against the defending NBA Champions.

The Celtics won in overtime in mid-November in the first matchup and picked up a 14-point victory over them less than two weeks ago. Boston will look to make it three in a row, but guessing which Celtics team will show up is anyone’s guess.

They have been maddeningly inconsistent this season, looking like a top team one game and following it up with a dud the next. Milwaukee is ripe for the picking given how shorthanded they are, but you know they will come out ready to play on Christmas Day.

With how congested the Eastern Conference is, this game matchup could have an impact on the standings. Holding a tiebreaker is never a bad thing and the Celtics would hold the head-to-head one over the Bucks if they pick up a third victory over them.
