Would this trade make sense for the Detroit Pistons?
Anfernee Simons was unknown by many before winning the Slam Dunk Competition last season, but he is a 22-year-old combo-guard that is a really strong athlete.
Not many players can keep Simons in front of them and the young guard has shot 38.1% from three-point range over the course of his career, not allowing defenders to sag off of him either.
The Detroit Pistons still need to determine what they have in Killian Hayes. But for now, adding another guard to challenge for being a long-term backcourt piece certainly would not hurt.
Nassir Little is still developing and is still a raw prospect, but he has been having his best season in the NBA and is showing a lot of promise for being a two-way combo-forward. Standing 6’5” with a 7’2” wingspan, Little has a ton of potential to grow into a force defensively.
