Would this trade make sense for the Phoenix Suns?
This could be the move that the Suns need to make if they end up trading Ayton. There is a need for a big man down low and Phoenix has always been interested in building depth. This is a chance to add more depth or a replacement if needed.
There are multiple benefits either way. Bagley is one of the players in the league in need of a change of scenery. He has not reached expectations in Sacramento but all of the weight cannot be put on his shoulders.
The Kings have not put Bagley in a huge position to be successful. They are not a strong team and Bagley would have a chance to contribute to a win-now team.
Paul is the point guard that could help Bagley take the next step. He has done this in his career and it has benefited plenty of big men.
