Myles Turner – Indiana Pacers
Perhaps the first domino that will fall in Indiana will be Myles Turner getting traded. For what seems like years now, Turner’s name has been brought up in trade rumors every time the trade deadline approaches, but this year feels a little different.
There is momentum for the Pacers to trade Turner and his value will never be higher than it currently is. Leading the league in blocks so far this season, Myles Turner has turned himself into one of the best shot-blockers of this generation and has led the league in blocked shots two of the last three seasons.
His numbers on offense are not that impressive, as Turner has only averaged 12.7 points per game for his career, but the Pacers really do not utilize him much on that end of the floor. They tend to play through Brogdon and Sabonis, resulting in Myles Turner only being a factor defensively in Indiana.
Going to a new team, not only could Turner continue to be a Defensive Player of the Year type of talent, but he could really turn things on offensively and make an impact since he has shot 48.9% from the floor and 35.7% from three-point range over the course of his career.

Myles Turner is making $17.5M this season and next season as well before becoming a free agent in 2023, which is why there are going to be teams lining up to try and trade for him. The impact he can make for a team defensively is vast and not being on a large, long-term contract, plenty of teams across the league will greatly benefit from pursuing him.
The Hornets, Raptors, Mavericks, Knicks, and Timberwolves are all teams that have been connected to Myles Turner in the past and could be interested in making a move for him once again. The Pacers’ big man is going to be on the move this season and he could be traded within the coming weeks.
