Cleveland Cavaliers
It is a long-shot to think about, especially since they are in the Eastern Conference, but the Cleveland Cavaliers could have a big need for another backcourt piece at the trade deadline.
Collin Sexton is out for the year after suffering a meniscus injury and while they have both Darius Garland and Ricky Rubio, adding Kemba Walker would give this team another experienced veteran to lead their offensive attack.
What kind of role he would hold in Cleveland would be the main question being asked here, especially since the Cavaliers play with three near 7-footers in their starting lineup, but Walker could take pressure of of Garland to have to do everything and he could fill the minutes that Sexton has left behind in this backcourt.
Not having much cap space, the Cavaliers would likely have to part ways with Cedi Osman and/or Isaac Okoro to make this trade work, but bringing in Walker stabilizes this backcourt and suddenly makes the Cavaliers a real “dark-horse” in the Eastern Conference.

The Cavaliers are not in a position to contend for a title or make the Eastern Conference Finals, but this Cavaliers team has looked like a legit playoff team all year long and currently 12-10 in the Eastern Conference, they have a real shot to grab a playoff spot.
Defensively, this Cavaliers team has made some tremendous strides, but ranking just 21st in offensive rating, they need a little bit more help. Kemba Walker is not the All-Star he once was, but he can be a steady option either in the starting rotation or coming off-the-bench next to Ricky Rubio for this team.
