The New York Knicks would ultimately decide that moving on from Kemba Walker entirely would be the best approach for the team to take at this time.

The Dallas Mavericks would need to be compensated in order to be enticed into taking on Walker’s contract, who is owed $8.7 million this season and just under $9.2 million in 2022-23.
