Indiana Pacers Receive: F Gordon Hayward

Myles Turner would be the big name being moved out of the Indiana Pacers in this NBA trade scenario.

Turner would solve problems in the frontcourt for the Hornets that they have been facing for a few years now. It has been a struggle for Charlotte to protect the rim at a sufficient level as previous options have been unable to do so and Mason Plumlee hasn’t gotten it done either.

The Hornets would also receive Jeremy Lamb and a second-round pick in next year’s draft.

This is what Gordon Hayward would warrant as a return. He has struggled with remaining on the floor since he was with the Boston Celtics. When healthy, Hayward is a perimeter threat that can still get it done in many ways.

The Pacers need to commit to building around a particular identity and the savvy skill-set of Hayward could complement Domantas Sabonis quite nicely as the team pivots.
