How This Trade Impacts Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors have been one of the more surprising teams in the NBA this season. They are 7-6 and battle every night. They have had Pascal Siakam for only two of those games, naturally creating some trade talks involving him.
Toronto likely wants to see how he fits in before making any drastic changes, especially since they turned down any overtures involving him during the offseason. He is unlikely to be on the move, and they would probably hold out more a player closer to All-Star caliber, but if they make him available, this is an intriguing offer from the Indiana Pacers.
The only reason the Raptors would consider trading Siakam is if they are comfortable with what they have at the power forward spot. Scottie Barnes has looked excellent in his rookie season, which could make the blow of moving on from Siakam easier to handle.
This package from the Pacers would also enable the Raptors to move Precious Achiuwa to the second unit, strengthening their frontcourt in the second unit.

Myles Turner is the headliner and would fill the biggest hole the Raptors currently have on their roster at the center spot. Turner would provide the team with an elite anchor as a rim protector and someone who has a blooming offensive game.
Jeremy Lamb and Oshae Brissett would give Toronto some much-needed depth on the wing and in the frontcourt. They use an eight or nine-man rotation most nights and could use some reinforcements.

The first-round pick could be a great asset. Given the struggles the Pacers have had in the early going, there is a chance they are a lottery team this season. Lottery picks are extremely valuable and would give Toronto a nice bargaining chip to use in a trade, or provide them a chance to land another impact young player to add to their core.
