2. LA Clippers

The LA Clippers’ focus in recent offseasons has been to upgrade the backcourt. They have been on the lookout for a new point guard and landed Eric Bledsoe for this season to be paired with Reggie Jackson.

While they could look for a long-term option there still, the center spot could also use some attention. The LA Clippers could use an upgrade there and Jusuf Nurkic would provide it.

Nurkic would provide a defensive presence in the middle that the team is lacking from Ivica Zubac and Isaiah Hartenstein. Serge Ibaka’s return will certainly help, but he could also soak up minutes at the power forward spot should a move be made to acquire a legitimate center.

Adding some more reliable, efficient players to the mix wouldn’t hurt as the team is navigating things without their superstar, Kawhi Leonard. They are hopeful he can make a return possibly heading into the postseason, but they have to qualify for the playoffs first.
