Kyle Anderson was someone that was mentioned as a possible trade candidate throughout the offseason. The Memphis Grizzlies ultimately held onto him, but he is someone the Chicago Bulls should look into acquiring.
He would provide a lot of what is currently missing from this roster, especially with Patrick Williams sidelined. Anderson is a combo forward that can fill numerous roles for Billy Donovan while on the court.
Need him to initiate some offense? Anderson is a more than capable playmaker. Does the lineup need a little more spacing? The former UCLA product has developed a reliable 3-point shot, knocking down 36 percent of his attempts last season and pushing that percentage up to 40.9 thus far this season.
Anderson is also a sound defender, something contending teams can never have enough of. You can match him up against any wing player or power forward, and in some instances, he can also defend backcourt players.

On an expiring contract, Anderson is likely someone contending teams will inquire about trading for. Looking to make an impact in the postseason themselves, the Grizzlies will likely drive a hard bargain in negotiations for him. But, with Dillon Brooks set to return soon from injury, the Grizzlies may have a logjam they will be looking to alleviate.
