LA Clippers Receive: G John Wall, G Armoni Brooks, 2022 First Round Pick
Houston Rockets Receive: G Eric Bledsoe, G Luke Kennard, C Ivica Zubac

John Wall was acquired in the original trade that sent Russell Westbrook to the Washington Wizards.

When he was sent to the Houston Rockets, it was clear that Wall was not a long-term piece for the franchise. This could be one of the options to move him, along with some first-round draft picks going to Los Angeles.

The Clippers would also be able to move a veteran that does not quite fit. Eric Bledsoe has shown some flashes in the very early portion of the season in Los Angeles, but regardless, his skill-set likely will not shine when Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are both operating on the wing.

For a team that gave up tons of draft compensation to land Paul George, landing a first-round pick from the Rockets would be a highly attractive option.

The Rockets would also get a perimeter threat in Luke Kennard and frontcourt piece Ivica Zubac — offering a chance for the Clippers to add some more balance on both ends of the floor.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this NBA trade scenario focused on John Wall would impact both the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets.
