2. Jaren Jackson Jr. plays 60 or more games
Jaren Jackson Jr. recently signed a contract extension to remain in Memphis. This is no surprise given his skillset but now it is time to earn that contract. He can do so by remaining on the court on a consistent basis. Jackson has struggled with injuries since coming into the league.
Jackson played just 11 games last season. In his career, he is averaging 15.4 points but has not played in 60 games yet as a pro. This could be the first year after signing his extension. There is no doubt where Jackson will be in the future and this could bring some comfort to the big man.
At 6-foot-11, Jackson is a big weapon but has to improve his rebounding. He is averaging just 4.7 rebounds per game over the course of his career.
The lack of availability will have to change and at 22 years old, there is plenty of room for Jackson to continue to grow.
