1. Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets are in the early stages of a rebuild. How committed are they to a young movement? They ended up making four selections in the 2021 NBA Draft and each player they picked is a teenager.
Jalen Green, Usman Garuba, Alperen Sengun, and Josh Christopher are all 19-years old. Houston is hopeful that they will have their foundation in place with the young guys they are adding to the roster.
If things start coming together quickly in Houston, they will be on the lookout for upgrades to help get the team to that next level. Someone such as Zion Williamson coming available would be the type of player they would pursue.
Williamson fits the team’s timeline as he is only 21-years old himself. He will not be cheap to acquire from the New Orleans Pelicans, but the Rockets have plenty of young players and draft picks that they could offer in a package for him.
